Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 6, 2026

Plain-English summary: Agent Guardian is designed for self-custody encrypted backups. Your selected agent files are encrypted locally before upload. We do not need your plaintext files or recovery key to provide the service.

What Agent Guardian backs up

Agent Guardian watches user-selected AI agent files and creates encrypted backup artifacts. Encryption happens on your device before network transmission.

Information we may process

What we do not want

Agent Guardian is not intended for protected health information (PHI), regulated medical records, payment card data, government identifiers, or other regulated data unless separate safeguards, consent, business agreements, retention rules, access controls, and audit procedures are in place.

Encryption and self-custody

Agent Guardian uses local encryption before upload. No plaintext should leave your device during normal backup operation. Your recovery key is self-custodied. If you lose the recovery key, Agent Guardian cannot decrypt or recover your backups for you.

IPFS and storage providers

Encrypted backup artifacts may be pinned to IPFS through infrastructure providers. IPFS CIDs are content-addressed receipts for encrypted data, not proof that plaintext is public. Storage availability depends on pinning, gateway availability, and account/service continuity.

Security limits

No system can guarantee perfect uptime, permanent storage, or recovery without the correct key. Agent Guardian is designed to reduce agent-file data-loss risk, not eliminate all operational, provider, device, or user-key risks.

Support and deletion requests

For support or privacy requests, contact support@agentbotguardian.com. Support mailbox verification remains part of launch readiness and should be confirmed before public marketing.

Changes

We may update this policy as Agent Guardian evolves. The current policy will be posted at this page.
